Description
The natural splendor of the Olympic Peninsula eclipses human creativity. This journey celebrates 30 years of time and tide, wind and weather, season and circumstance. The capriciousness of these elements often made long waits futile and the prizes elusive. Unfortunately, much of the ambience is lost in still photography - bird songs, water music, the aromas of balsam fir and flowering fields of lupine, the warmth of the sun, the cold of northwest rains. Hopefully enough of the excitement of the moment seeps through these images to convey the richness of this remarkable place.
