Dog groomer Juliet was asked to be a seat filler at an awards show and ended up next to the famous Noah Douglas, the movie heartthrob and actor of her dreams. Noah expresses romantic interest in Juliet, but due to her fear of kissing, she refuses him. Instead, she agrees to be friends.
