When a circus ship runs aground off the coast of Maine, the poor animals are left on their own to swim the chilly waters. Staggering onto a nearby island, they soon win over the wary townspeople with their kind, courageous ways. So well do the critters blend in that when the greedy circus owner returns to claim them, villagers of all species conspire to outsmart the bloated blowhard.

Twelve-year-old Chase and his friend Nicole Rossi attempt to rescue the Rossi Brothers' Circus--lions, tigers, elephants, and all--in Mexico, where a massive earthquake has struck, leading to the imminent eruption of a volcano.

Seven-year-old Louise, who performs in a trapeze act with her mother and father, finally gets an important job at the circus, but when things go wrong she wonders if she is really ready for new responsibilities.

The stork delivers a baby elephant to Mrs. Jumbo, who happens to be a veteran of the circus, but the newborn is soon ridiculed because of his truly gigantic ears and is dubbed "Dumbo". Dumbo is relegated to the circus' clown acts. It is up to Dumbo's only true friend, Timothy Q. Mouse, to assist Dumbo to achieve his full potential.

A cumulative tale in which Quantz, who is repaid in fleas for scratching a stray dog, makes a series of trades that turn one person's burden into the next one's joy and ultimately brings them all together for a circus performance.

Grumps is content to do his one trick in the center ring at the circus, until a new dog shows up and steals the show--temporarily.

Morris and Boris go to the circus as spectators and end up being part of the action.
